TWO KINDRED SOULS

I love this photo of Robert and I. I feel like our facial features are so defined. Like if you put our images together you'd see what our kids would look like.

I love this man so much.

Stackable Rings

I am OBSESSED with this ring. I tried it on with the ring Robert gave me and it looks perfect. There are three things I wanted in a ring.

1. NO solitaire diamond. They catch on to things and turn side to side on your finger.

2. I wanted a ring that was stackable.

3. One of the rings I wore in my stack I want Robert to wear as his ring. So we were matching.

I showed the ring (on the left) to my friend Sarah and her exact words were DO NOT buy this ring. I know how much it cost to make and you would be paying WAY over that. You can have something similar made in the diamond district in NYC. I wouldn't want to copy the exact ring because a.) that's not right and b.) that's cheesy. The thought of designing our own ring though doe sound pretty amazing. I called up my friend Anna Sheffield to see what we could come up with. She had a few ideas to stack a few rings in her existing collection. I go back in a few weeks to check it out. In the mean time Sarah is tracking down her diamond guy. YEAH!!

Savannah Georgia

So, Telum is out. My friend went there and said it as boring and expensive. PLUS Robert and I don't want to get married on the beach he is one shade from the color of snow you know..ha!

Where then?? I put the whole wedding planning on hold. I don't know where to get married and the though of planning a wedding just wasn't exciting me. Is this normal? I mean I do plan sell events for a living and don't really have the energy to plan this wedding PLUS..I just wasn't feeling it with Telum. I'm all about a feeling.

Fast forward a few weeks ago. Me, Nicky (the most fabulous event planner ever) and a bottle of wine. He asked me what I wanted and what I've been dreaming about since I was a kid..."Uh...Nicky I've never dreamed about my wedding..woops!" I told him I want something rustic, something outdoors, something with ALL our friends and family, a big party, dancing, Shake Sinora and a Limbo line..HA!

He then suggested Savannah Georgia. It's rich with history, beautiful colonial mansions and SO Robert and I. I fell in love and the feeling of excitement filled my soul. YES!! I love it....I can see myself as a character in a Jane Austin novel. Mr. Darcey!!!
