FASHION'S NIGHT OUT= YEARS OFF YOUR LIFE

Last week marked the 4th year of Fashion Night Out. What started as a good idea...bringing people out to shop and boost the economy has turned in to a cluster F%*K situation. The streets are filled with 14-20 year girls who can't walk in heels and thugs who think they are fashion people all of which are going in and out of stores getting free booze and freaking out over anything free! I was down in Soho to go by the Vans store and Lacoste to support my co-worker Mr. Mickey. I could barely handle the crowd. I was standing by the bar and I watched a bartender hand 14 year old girl a drink like it was kool-aid. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Hello she definitely does not look like she's 18 not let alone 21.

Everyone agrees that it's no longer FNO it's FASHION NIGHTS IN....I just wonder how much longer this will last.

I Hart You- Wedding

This weekend Robert and I flew up (with Lola) to Syracuse for our friend Molly and Seth Hart's wedding!



Robert custom made Seth's tux. As well as the groomsmen's vest and ties.



What did i wear you ask? Well I did a wardrobe change from the church to the party so I wore TWO outfits!

First one: Bottega Veneta dress.


Second a Helmut Lang dress with Jimmy Choo shoes.









My man wore head to toe By Robert James of course.

WEEK 7 #ETC

I'm on week 7 out of 8 for my #etc (boot camp) class. So far I've lost 6 lbs and my body fat is 17%. My trainer said that's on the lower end of what a 20 year old should be...I was like "Could you say that again!" We have one more week to go. I'm going to be sad to not be a part of a team but have made some good friends from the class. I'm going to keep the momentum up!

WEEK 4 OF BOOT CAMP COMPLETE!

Week 4 of #etc Equinox's boot camp is complete!! I'm starting to get in the habit of waking up early even on the days I don't have #etc. I tried to do this no carb diet this week...I don't suggest it. I got really weak and tired. So it's carbs in the day and not after 8. YEAH! I have lost 4 lbs but no body fat...not cute! I have 4 more weeks to go. I'm going to up the cardio. YAHOOOO!!

WORK IT: WEEK THREE

I joined this #etc boot camp at my gym and today I finished week three! I have 5 more weeks to go.  I've never been a "gym" type of person but I LOVE IT! There are 38 of us in the group and we meet every M/W/F from 7:15-8:15 am. It feels so good to be a part of a group of people who all have the same goals.

I'm not sure how much I've lost and to me it doesn't really matter. I feel super good, I'm getting up early and I'm addicted to working out! YEAH!! Here's to a fit and skinny body for the summer....LOVE!

Bill Cunningham- Click, Click, Click

One of my DREAMS just came true!! I was riding my bike down 5th ave from 54th st to 32nd st. and who do I see on the left of me but BILL CUNNINGHAM himself cruising on his bike (of course). I look over with a HUGE smile and say "Hi Bill!" I don't think he heard me. Any how I pass him and roll up to the stop light. Then all of a sudden I hear "CLICK, CLICK, CLICK." My heart stopped for a second "Was Bill Cunningham taking a photo of me? Tell me it's not true." The light turns green and I slightly look to my left and there he his with camera in hand. WHAT!!! I got so excited. Even if this photo doesn't grace the Sunday NY Times I'll always remember the time when Mr. Cunningham took a photo of me.

February 14th Poem

Valentine isn't really a big deal to me. Maybe it's because I spent years while in college waiting on happy cheesy couples spending WAY to much on a meal that was 1/2 the price the day before. I hate being ripped off. Ha! I also don't care for stuff animals, roses, chocolates, foo-foo lotion or soaps. Man I sound like the grinch.

I love down right thoughtfulness. Something that is a bit Of a surprise that comes from your heart. That's what wins my heart!!

Every year on Valentines day Robert writes me a poem that only I could translate and understand. It's almost like a riddle sometimes. I love it. This year the poem was called "Wife." it made me smile, cry tears of joy and feel so good inside.....exactly how I wanted to feel on February 14th.
