Marriage License
I just called the county clerk in SD to talk about getting a marriage license. I'm a bit to early he said. See in San Diego you have to call to make an appointment to pick up your marriage license in PERSON. He said he doesn't make appointments farther then 3 months out...wooops! Ok, so I'm a little eager..ha! I'll be talking to him in a month or so. YEAH!!
For those of you getting married in SD the number to call to get a license is: 619 237-0502

Seventh Annual Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Contest!
Who would have known you can win $1000 for making a dress out of toilet paper!
Susan Brennan of Orchard Lake, MI did!!
Inspired by nature. She used flowers and feathers and balanced the dress with pleats on the bodice. She used 4 rolls of Toilet Paper, hot glue, and packing tape.
Laura Lee from Milpitas, CA took second place for $500
Inspired by how new brides want to look and feel in their wedding dresses. She used 5 rolls of one-ply Toilet Paper, transparent duct tape, first aid tape and spray adhesive. Her friend Michelle helped her put the dress together.
Cynthia Richards from Marietta, GA takes 3rd place for $250
She used 20 rolls of Toilet Paper, Duct Tape, Hot Glue, Mod Podge Glue and Fabric Glue. Her 8 year old daughter Rainey helped her with her dress.
Personally I think Cynthia should have won.
